The weather today has been a mix of sunny spells and really heavy showers. It is strange at this altitude because when you get rain, more often than not, you are actualy in the clouds, so it is misty with the rain.
I experienced this on a trip to the local-ish supermarket. On the way back up the 500 foot 3 mile hike, laden with a rucsack of shopping, it lashed it down. I think the managers suggestion to drive was a good one.
I did a conversion on 2,750m (Camra d`aze) today it turns out that it is 9,022 Foot. Its kind of nice to know that I have been above 9,000 feet for the first time.
